Job Requirements / Description
To manage and lead all operations and logistics within the Clinical Skills Education Centre (CSEC) in the Centre of Medical Education (CME), providing administrative and finance support to the Director of CSEC and Academic Leads, overseeing daily activities in line with CME/CSEC objectives and goals, working closely with the Centre Manager and Senior Administrative Leads within CME. About the person: The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: Primary Degree (or equivalent) or* substantial experience in a relevant teaching or training administration role in an Education or Healthcare setting. A minimum of three years recent, relevant experience working in an Education or Healthcare setting which must include: Experience of financial administration and systems Line management experience across a team with a number of complex job roles Experience in teaching or training administration which must include complex timetabling, and allocation of resources including staff and equipment. Well- developed organisational abilities e.g. ability to devise, implement, maintain and initiate changes to administrative processes and procedures, keeping accurate records and producing status and progress reports. Experience of providing high level administrative support to senior management and senior staff teams. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capability and a keen interest and proven ability to innovate in their work. Experience of production of complex reports to inform management decisions. Ability to coordinate the work of others, in assigning tasks and be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the required timescales and standards. Excellent IT skills, including confident and proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite and in use of a range of management information systems.
