Due to the expansion of the Marine team, this Tier 1 Ranked Legal 500 Law Firm is looking to hire a talented lawyer to join them in the oldest maritime firms in the world!
The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor with c.2 years PQE+ with experience of working on marine insurance to include trade, transport litigation and shipping dispute resolution.
You will be acting for governments, producers, trading companies, banks, cargo insurers, national oil companies and international traders on a whole host of complex issues.
As part of the role you will also be responsible for conducting training sessions and workshops for clients on a regular basis and providing supervision to junior members of the team.

The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with 2 years experience in marine, or trading
- Ability to work to deadlines, to prioritise and manage a varied caseload
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Strong legal and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
