Area Security Officer

We are looking for a Area Security Guard to join us where you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security. The rate of pay is £12.00 per hour. This is a part-time role. You will be working an average of 24 hours a week covering Croydon, Crawley and New Malden areas. This will also be a day and night position. Your Time at Work As a Security Officer your duties will include: To provide effective security provision to the site as noted within the site assignment instructions. To control the access and egress of staff, contractors and visitors in a professional manner To use the site computers effectively to not only book visitors and contractors that are visiting the site but also to send out inductions to future visitors attending the site Patrols are conducted regularly using the site patrol vehicle and on foot using the site patrol phone. To keep the gatehouse clean and tidy at all times To look professional and smart at all times and to be polite and courteous to security colleagues and staff. To be vigilant and proactive about the position they have. Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key. You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own transport.
