And rather than have you blend in, we want to help you unleash your full potential.The RoleThe IT support and cloud engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations and support for our European Employees and Corporate Office. The role is a mix of Help Desk Technician, with some Microsoft 365 and Azure support. This role is responsible for daily operational tasks related to helpdesk tickets, Joiner/Mover/Leaver process, End User Device management. Employees are welcome to work remote in this role but will be required to report on-site in our Birmingham office 1-2 times per week. What you’ll doProvide support for employee devices (laptops, phones etc) and applications. Troubleshoot operational issues rapidly and analyse and resolve underlying issues to restore systems and maintain continuity of business. Work independently with minimal supervision progressing issues and other tasks. Perform detail-oriented work accurately with frequent interruptions. Manage accurate inventory of user devices and applications/licenses. Microsoft 365 support and administration. There may be some elements of: Microsoft Azure support and administration including EntraID, IaaS and PaaS solutions. Cloud application management. Support of phone system and contact centre solutions. What you’ll bringThree years’ experience in a Help Desk or SysAdmin support role. Experience managing Microsoft 365 and its associated suite of applications (Exchange Online, Intune, etc) in an Enterprise Environment. Experience with managing and implementing automation for laptop deployments, maintenance, and administration. (PatchmyPC, PDQ, Intune) Desirable knowledge, skills and abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work well in small teams Excellent trouble shooting abilities Extensive technical support experience of end user software and devices (laptops, phones, etc) Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and implementation.
