Job Requirements / Description
The Service Engineer will carry out water hygiene and treatment tasks for a variety of clients across London and the South. Responsibilities include water sampling, TMV servicing, temperature monitoring, tank cleaning, domestic service disinfection, showerhead descaling, and closed system testing.
Key Responsibilities
• Conducting water hygiene and treatment services for a wide range of water systems and equipment.
• Assisting with the commissioning of water treatment equipment.
• Ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and Health and Safety standards, as well as company codes of practice.
• Maintaining clear communication with both the operations team and clients, providing updates on job progress and reporting issues promptly.
Additional Responsibilities
• Producing detailed reports on work completed.
• Supervising and providing training for junior engineers and graduates.
• Identifying opportunities for additional remedial work or potential new leads for the company.
• Staying up to date with current water hygiene practices, legislation, and treatment products, and recommending training where necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
• Knowledge of water treatment equipment such as water softeners, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plant is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8 is preferred, though full training will be provided.
• Plumbing or electrical qualifications or experience are highly desirable.
• Competence in using computers, particularly Word and Outlook.
• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of practical site experience is advantageous.
• Excellent planning, organising, and communication skills.
• A full valid UK driving licence is required.

Additional Information
