JOB DESCRIPTION
About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrician to join our Repairs team covering Guinness homes in Cornwall.
We're a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only be a fully qualified and experienced Electrician, but you'll also have great attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.
This is a full time, permanent role, covering various location within Cornwall working 39 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Please note: This is a mobile role which is key to supporting the wider team therefore a full driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is required.
We are looking for a motivated individual who:

• Has certificated Electrician qualifications and demonstrated experience in domestic and commercial electrical works.
• Has proven knowledge and experience in electrical fixed wire testing, installing, and maintaining up to 230v.
• Has the ability to correctly complete the relevant certifications, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
• Has the ability to accurately interpret technical data & drawings and instructions.
• Is experienced with working in a customer-focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Can work in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
• Has the ability to carry out physical tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Has good working knowledge of Health & Safety Practices.
• Can demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.

Essential qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 (or Equiv.)
• 17 th /18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2360.

*Your Welcome Bonus is payable in 2 parts. £500 is paid in your first month's salary and £500 is paid when you pass your probation. To be eligible for the Welcome Bonus you must be an external applicant and not currently employed by The Guinness Partnership.
