Science Technicians (Permanent, Full-Time, Term-Time Only) – Tunbridge Wells, Kent T4S Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prestigious school in Tunbridge Wells, Kent for two full-time Science Technicians. These are permanent, term-time only roles, offering an actual salary of £20,861 - £21,696, based on 37 hours per week and 39 weeks per year plus 5 inset days. This role will support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum within lessons. The science technicians will assist in the maintenance and preparation of the classrooms, apparatus and materials for staff and students, with a view to supporting safe, effective and efficient teaching and learning. Start Date: Immediate/ASAP Key Responsibilities: * Provide technical support to the Science Department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation. * Prepare and order materials, equipment, and resources for science lessons. * Maintain and set up laboratory equipment and machines. * Ensure the highest standards of health and safety in the laboratory environment. Essential Requirements: * A science qualification to at least A Level or equivalent. * Strong technical competence and attention to detail. * The ability to work effectively within a team and independently. * Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting is desirable but not essential.
