Job Requirements / Description
Key Responsibilities: - Bug Fixing: Address and resolve a backlog of more than 100 software bugs within the Test Management System. - Feature Development: Develop and implement over 50 new features to enhance the functionality of the system. - Procedure Writing: Create and update software procedures to ensure consistency and clarity in the development process. - Documentation: Write and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, to support both current and future users. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and testers, to ensure seamless integration and performance of the system. - Testing & Validation: Participate in the testing and validation phases to ensure all software modifications meet the project requirements. Key Skills & Experience: - Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with QT framework. - Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues. - Documentation: Experience in writing technical documentation, user manuals, and procedural guidelines. - System Development: Familiarity with developing software systems used in flight and lab testing environments is advantageous. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively. - Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment, with a focus on achieving project milestones. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience with Test Management Systems or similar software used in testing environments. - Knowledge of the aerospace industry or experience in a similar technical field
