Job Requirements / Description

BID Writer required for our client a Tier 1 Main Contractor based in Derby to work on a wide range of project tenders on residential major projects. The BID Writer will be joining a well-established team and will work closely with the BID Manager as well as Estimators. This role will offer excellent career progression.

The BID Writer will need to have extensive experience to be able to develop the Bid Strategy with the functional Director and to provide general technical bid support to the business

BID Writer Position Overview

  • Developing Bid Strategy with Director
  • Research technical requirements, client, specification, qualifications, etc
  • Planning Bid Submission, deadlines for internal and external returns and review of information
  • Proof reading of information supplied by the bid team
  • Becoming full conversed with client's expectations on technical submissions
  • Writing and coordinating technical bid submission with the support of the estimating team and contract managers.

BID Writer Position Requirements

  • Strong Creative Writing & Administrative Skills
  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience within a construction

BID Writer Position Remuneration

Start date: Asap

  • Salary: up to 55K- 60K + a generous bonus.
  • 23 day's holidays plus 8 days Bank Holidays
