Quantitative Developer - Front Office Experience City of London - Onsite 5 days a week 12 months Inside of IR35 Up to £650 per day My client is looking for a Quantitative Developer with extensive Excel VBA experience to work in their Trade Floor/ Front Office. As a Front Office Developer your mission will be to join a recently created team of developers to develop and maintain tactical front office trading applications for the rates and credit business lines. You will be involved in the whole software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to development, testing, deployment and support. Daily Duties to Include - Gather requirements from traders, other clients or teams (IT, quants…) Develop new functionalities mostly in Excel / VBA, potentially also some Python Test the code. Assist and test with Microsoft Office patches etc. Proactively plan and migrate functionality from spreadsheets to strategic systems Support and improve progressively the applications developed in the team Collaborate with support and other IT and technical teams Draw up all the technical documentation required in accordance with the Group's Development Policies and the stipulations of the solution design Identify training, upskilling or re-profiling needs required to maintain technical competences Key Skills & Experiences Solid Quantitative Developer Deep knowledge of Excel and VBA Proficient in C# .Net Core and/or Python Experience working in banking with front office experience providing support to traders If you rre available and interested, please apply today!
