Talentedge are exclusively working with a VC backed AI driven AdTech startup on a crucial role within their expanding team.

As #1 in finance, you will be a data-led and operationally focussed individual who is capable of steering this company through new product launches, international expansion and beyond.

Key responsibilities to include:

Lead the day-to-day finance function:

• Review the preparation of monthly board pack including management accounts with analysis and commentaries
• Own statutory reporting and tax work, including VAT and R&D
• Proactively improve processes and controls to streamline and maximise efficiencies, using technology where possible to automate
• Mentor a Finance Manager & 2 Assistants

FP&A:

• Own budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
• Build complex financial models to drive business decision making
• KPI analysis

Commercial finance:

• Business partner cross functionally
• Create business cases for new product launches as well as geographical expansion
• Manage relations with external partners and suppliers
• Own pricing structures and changes
• Partner CEO, Board and Investors on all commercial activities including potential fundraising

Profile:

• Technically strong & commercially astute qualified accountant
• Experience of working within a high growth technology company
• Fundraising exposure is advantageous
• Established business partner who is experienced with advising, challenging and influencing internal and external stakeholders
• Data driven by nature with strong financial modelling skills
• Previous exposure to using Xero software as well as additional bolt-ons
