Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining a seamless learning environment by managing classrooms and delivering pre-prepared lesson plans during teacher absences. You will be responsible for supervising classes across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring students remain on task and engage with their work. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise students in the absence of their usual teacher, ensuring they remain focused on set work. * Deliver pre-planned lessons and support students in their learning. * Maintain a positive learning environment by managing student behavior effectively. * Provide feedback to the teaching staff on student progress and behavior. * Support administrative tasks when required. * Be flexible and adaptable in covering a range of subjects and year groups. What We’re Looking For: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment. * Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential). * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to different situations. * Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices (training will be provided if necessary).
