Role Overview:
This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Milton Keynes or Bristol, with the flexibility to work on-site at locations across the UK. As a Construction Manager, you will oversee pre-construction activities, conduct surveys, review project plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the refurbishment process. You will also serve as a key contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring project success from start to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Surveys and Assessments: Conduct thorough surveys of buildings slated for refurbishment, evaluating structural integrity and identifying potential challenges.
* Project Planning and Design Review: Collaborate with design teams to assess project feasibility, compliance, and identify potential improvements.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards, building regulations, and the Building Safety Act.
* Quality Assurance and Control: Implement quality control processes, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
