Events Safety Manager Up to £72,000 + benefits Location: London (with wider UK travel) Are you an experienced safety professional within the events and hospitality space? Then the below could be for you… Our client, a leading provider for some of the UK's largest music events, corporate events, and radio stations are looking to bring onboard a new Events Safety Manager. The role will be focusing on leading the production safety strategy across the events schedule for the year, supporting different business units (such as commercial, audio, and marketing) to implement the best safety practise. Responsibilities for the Events Safety Manager will include: Working closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team to lead on driving forward the health and safety strategy and culture across the organisation Building relationships with venue suppliers and other contractors as part of the supply chain when planning events; specifically looking into risk assessments, safety policies, and security/crowd control Reporting health and safety performance accurately to the line manager, and wider Senior LeadershipThe successful Events Safety Manager will have: Proven experience within production (such as music events, corporate events, large venues/arenas) NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant IIRSM/IOSH memberships Construction/CDM experience would be desirable A pragmatic and solutions-focused outlook with the ability to spot efficiencies across the organisation Proven capability to build relationships across a business up to Board levelFor more information about this opportunity or to discuss your next career move, contact Matthew Cathcart on +44(0) (phone number removed) or apply here.
