Piping Quality Engineer The NRL Group are currently looking for an experienced Piping Quality Engineer to join a large construction project carrying out the responsibility for the continuously monitor the quality activities of partners and subcontractors to ensure that they deliver the quality of product/service as per the code/standards and contractual/project requirements. What will the role consist of? Conduct site quality inductions. Monitor and track site quality objectives. Review the list of applicable documents submitted by subcontractors. Review ITPL and other documents submitted by subcontractors. Monitor the quality activities of partners and subcontractors against the Inspection and Test Plan, ensuring test results are documented according to relevant standards/project requirements. Ensure all witness and hold points as per the ITPL are notified to the client. Participate in site inspections and testing. Verify the accuracy of welding documentation. Monitor welder failure rates. Ensure no NCFSI in site-procured materials by partners/subcontractors. Monitor and track site QRA to ensure compliance. Ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety requirements/PED/EN. Verify and review the completeness and correctness of the Site Work Conformance Files (SWCF). Train GE, partners, and subcontractors in the use of quality tools. Manage the review of the SMF. Perform quality audits and random inspections internally and on partners and subcontractors. Submit monthly reports to the SQM. Perform any other quality tasks delegated by the Site Quality Manager. Ensure the Inspection and Test Plan is signed off with the correctness and completeness of associated records. Ensure timely approval and submission of SWCF. Complete the site quality audit program. Monitor the customer satisfaction index.
