Head chef require for a venue in the Slough area, this venue has a range of weddings, conferences and events. As head chef you will be heading up the kitchen team. Due to the nature of the venue every week is different, some days are more prep day focused and other days are weddings and functions. Head chef, £35k basic. The role As a head chef you will run the kitchen, you will ensure the function sheet prep is done and ready for service. you will ensure the prep lists are created, the various requirements on the function sheet are met and the team are briefed. This role will include all the standard head chef duties, due to the nature of the venue, it is a hands on cookery role and not a office-based head chef role. Experience We are looking for a head chef who is either a head chef, senior sous chef or a sous chef ready to step up.
