Senior National Accounts - Grocery
Our client is a 250m + FMCG group operating in one of the most recognised household categories in the UK & Europe. The business are now looking to hire an outstanding Senior National Account Manager who can manage some of their top 4 grocery customers. The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years with a high degree of sophistication across the different business functions largely due to strong leadership, the ability and high potential of new recruits and constant innovation driven at every level of the business.
This has been a real success story and they are in a strong position for further UK growth.
In this role you will work closely with the Sales Director and the different function heads to devise and execute effective business plans against commercial objectives and targets but also have the ability to make a really big impact on the future of the business.
Snapshot of responsibilities
- Effective management and relationship development of major accounts in Grocery.
- Development and implementation of joint business plans
- Effectively use of Category insight to build customer proposals
- Own any required CPIs
- Full P&L accountability
- Contribute at the highest levels across the commercial team and be a major influence in a high performing commercial team
The experience and person we would like
- At least 5-7 years full National Accounts experience in own label and some branded FMCG across Top Tier Grocery
- Recent or previous experience of working with FMCG products.
- Strong skills working cross-functionally
- Outstanding analytical ability and strong financial literacy
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are required
- Ambitious, hardworking and happy to get stuck in to make a difference
Offer
- Salary up to 75,000, Car Allowance ( TBC) , Bonus, Pension and Healthcare
- Home based working, Northern Based Head office.
