Credit Controller (Xero Experience Essential) – Executive Search Firm

£35-40k plus 20% bonus

London – Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office)

?? The Company ??

• My client are an established retained search, intelligence and advisory firm offering solutions to global organisations operating within energy and commodities markets. They are headquartered in London with offices globally across Europe, USA, South America and Asia.
• The role, reporting to the Group Finance Manager, will focus on managing and controlling the debtor book across the group and providing a clear and efficient credit control service.
• The day-to-day duties of the Credit Controller are varied and include managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery.

?? The Role ??

As the Credit Controller, you will:

• Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
• Ensuring timely payment of debts
• Following up payments as needed
• Negotiating repayment plans
• Responding in a timely manner to high profile client queries
• Processing and reconciliation of invoices
• Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems

?? What we are looking for ??

• Recent in depth experience using the Xero platform is essential for the role
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good knowledge of Google Mail, Docs and Sheets or familiarity with similar programmes
• A can-do approach and attitude to driving down and maintaining debtor balances
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and take direction accurately
