Job Title: NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician Location: Dartford, Kent (Operating in London and the Southeast of England) Rate: £220 per day 8am - 4:30pm (£167.35 if PAYE) About Us We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Dartford, Kent, offering top-tier services throughout London and the Southeast. The Role We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team on a contract or temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in domestic, social housing, and commercial settings. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in line with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in domestic and commercial environments. Conduct inspections and tests for condition reporting of electrical installations. Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently. Liaise with contractors to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality service. Complete all relevant field management software and documentation accurately.Required Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent BS 7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition qualification Level 3 Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent) ECS Gold Card (preferred but not essential)Skills & Experience Proven experience in both domestic and commercial environments. Must be able to drive and have own vehicle. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in electrical work. Expertise in diagnosing electrical faults and implementing effective solutions. Ability to read and interpret site guidance notes. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using technology for documentation and communication. Experience with electrical certification software and knowledge of British standards certification. A meticulous approach to ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
