IT Training Instructor

Head Resourcing are looking for an IT trainer for a leading charity dedicated to preserving and promoting Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage. The companies mission is to protect and share the unique landscapes, historic sites, and cultural treasures of Scotland for future generations. The role pays up to £40k, is based in Edinburgh 1 day per week with some travel to other sites, and is a 12 month contract. The IT Trainer will ensure that all users are proficient in using the new system, facilitating a smooth transition and maximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the new solution. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and analysis of job functions. Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, both in-person and remotely for diverse audiences, including end-users, administrators, and technical staff. Develop and update training materials, including manuals, guides, and video tutorials. Customise training programs to meet the specific needs of the end users. Provide ongoing support and follow-up training as needed. Evaluate the effectiveness of training program and make improvements as necessary. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software training. Demonstratable proven experience in delivering training both face-to-face and remotely. Strong experience in creating training materials, including videos. Experience of working with contractors and 3rd party providers.
