Having seen exceptional growth over the past few years, the Engineering Manager will help establish the organisation for future International expansion and Product growth, working closely alongside the CTO, to help the business align technically, deliver on key projects and programmes of work and to further align Engineering with the Product teams and goals of the wider organisation. This role would suit an Engineering leader, with ambitions on progressing into Senior Leadership within a rapidly scaling FinTech in the not too distant future. Key Responsibilities: - Lead engineering roadmaps, manage backend teams, and ensure platform stability. - Foster collaboration within remote engineering teams. - Drive product enhancements for improved customer experience. - Analyse performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. Who You Are: - 2+ years of experience managing teams of 5+ engineers. - 5+ years in Software Engineering with hands-on experience in software engineering - Proven hands-on programming experience, ideally in Node, React, TypeScript or Kotlin, Java - Solid experience building and scaling web apps and websites. - Focused on delivering customer-first products and solutions. - Experience in FinTech, finance, or similar start-ups or scale-ups. - Comfortable working in remote environments and managing remote teams.
