Head of R&D, Global Food IngredientsUK Wide - Hybrid working£80,000 - £110,000 + BenefitsThis an interesting opportunity to lead the development and innovation as the Head of R&D across UK, Europe, and international regions for a dedicated food ingredients product set.A great Head of R&D role working at group level for a leading food ingredients supplier supporting a global team and strategy for the Sauces product platform.The business has been actively growing through acquisition and hold a prestigious place within the food ingredients sector. Culturally they embrace a community feel and although they have multiple sites across European and global regions, they work hard to create a cohesive and strong team culture of support and ambition to do the best for their customers.This role will be to work at group level with European and international regions to support the development of the Sauces capabilities. The role is a unique blend of the “day to day” work supporting the regions, tier 1 customer projects and also looking at the long-term innovation mission and 5-year plan.The role will be UK based offering hybrid working alongside travel across continental Europe and North America (averaging approximately 30% of your time).To be successful in the role you must meet the following criteria:Extensive product development experience within food ingredients with specific and up to date knowledge and expertise in saucesDirect management and leadership of large technical groups including project management and virtual teamsAcademic food science knowledge with product development, new technology creation, and food manufacturing experience of food products, specifically salad dressings, sauces, dips, glazes, or other oil in water emulsion systemsAbility and willingness to travel as part of your rolePlease apply with your CV today or contact me, Abbi, to discuss further.REF.
