Company Description Genomics England partners with the NHS to provide whole genome sequencing diagnostics. We also equip researchers to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments – with patients and participants at the heart of it all. We are looking for an exceptional Head of Office of the CEO to work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy. This highly visible role involves overseeing strategic and operational planning, risk management, and managing the day-to-day operations of the CEO Office at Genomics England. Job Description Lead the smooth running of the CEO Office, minuting CEO meetings, setting agendas, and briefing materials for the CEO, as well as working with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to ensure the diary operates smoothly. Deputise for the Chief of Staff, including strategic discussions, advising the CEO, and providing the Genomics England view to stakeholders. Secretariat responsibilities including for critical committees such as the Executive Leadership Team meetings and Risk Committee. Provide data-driven insights and advice to the Chief of Staff and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) for company-wide priorities and reporting. Drive key initiatives and remove obstacles, escalating risks, and ensuring executive access when required. Lead commissioning and content creation for CEO presentations and critical meetings including the Genomics England Board, as well as meetings with important stakeholders. Support policy creation for the CEO Office in areas such as international engagement, corporate social responsibility, and risk management.  If you’re an exceptional coordinator with a passion for supporting high-level strategic priorities, we’d love to hear from you.
