Dunbar Education is proud to be recruiting for a Teacher of Maths on behalf of an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Academy in Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and committed Mathematics teacher to join the school on a permanent, full-time basis starting in January 2025. The role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of students across the age-range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality and engaging Maths lessons that inspire and motivate students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote best practices in teaching and learning
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Maths
- Experience teaching Maths to secondary school students (ages 11-16) in the UK; applications from both ECTs and more experienced colleagues are both warmly welcomed
- Right to work in the UK (essential)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and student success
Salary:
- Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS) dependent on experience
