Core dutiesDatabase Management: Develop and maintain holdings and transaction database for robust data analysis, processing, and reporting.Reporting: Produce reports and statements for effective client communication.Interface: Act as a liaison between operations, investor relations, and investment management teams.Data Accuracy: Ensure timely, accurate, and structured data for investor reporting.Client Communication: Collaborate with investor relations on client communications.System Improvement: Implement and refine data management systems, processes, and procedures.Support Teams: Assist Investment Management and Investor Relations with performance and pipeline analysis.Database Integrity: Ensure all databases are complete and accurate.Compliance: Deliver services according to compliance standards.Operations DevelopmentChange Management: Develop and improve the client holdings and transactions database structure and streamline reporting.Investment AdministrationClient Allocations: Assist with client investment allocations and administrative tasks.Reconciliations: Maintain stock and cash reconciliations with custodians and third parties.EIS Process: Manage EIS tax relief applications and maintain investment allocation documentation.Corporate Actions: Ensure prompt and correct processing of corporate actions.Systems SupportDatabase Utilisation: Support Investor Relations and Sales in database usage.System Implementation: Participate in new system and process implementations.Training: Provide training and support for internal processes and databases.Process Improvement: Develop and implement business process improvements.Quality Control: Maintain database quality control and ensure regular portal syncs.Risk Management and Conflicts of InterestRisk Identification: Identify operational and investment management risks.Conflict Awareness: Identify and manage conflicts of interest.Communication: Share perceived risks or conflicts and contribute to their management and disclosure.What you'll need to succeed Essential:Degree qualified in a relevant discipline and/or equal relevant experience and qualifications.Attention to detail.Strong team skills.Excellent database management capabilities and Power BI (or similar).Advanced user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.Understanding of database discipline.Good time management.Desirable:Knowledge of financial services industry.Accounting/bookkeeping knowledge.Qualifications appropriate for the role.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
