About the Role:
They are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior/Commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fault finding, repair, installation and commissioning/testing of refrigeration systems in both military and commercial settings. You will ensure that all systems are fully operational, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- This role is split between site based and our Fareham workshops.
- The role will include the setup, testing, checking and fault finding of new and existing refrigeration plant and systems.
- Commission refrigeration systems to ensure full functionality and compliance with design specifications.
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment, identifying and rectifying any issues.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning phases.
- Complete service reports and documentation related to commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Participate in the handover process to clients, including conducting training on system operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Senior/Commissioning engineer on refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial environments.
Relevant qualifications in refrigeration engineering (Apprenticeship trained, FGAS CAT 1 etc)
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, controls/PLC, and electrical circuits.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
