Report needed: s.12 A Mental Health Assessment Assessment date/ time: Tbc (based on availability at the HMP) Report needed by: 27/09/24 Client status: Detained in HMP Background to the case: The Client has been charged with imitation of a firearm, the client has a reported history of mental health issues and Schizophrenia. A recent report has been carried out, but only limited medical records exist. We can provide both on request. The judge has indicated that The Judge in this case has indicated that the Court would require addendum reports from two Doctors, at least, one of whom must be suitably accredited pursuant to s.12 A Mental Health Act 1983, dealing with the issue of how the client should be dealt with. The consideration should be whether a hospital order should be made and, if so, whether such an order should be with restriction or not. The assessment for the report will be done remotely over MS Teams/ Google Meets. Rate: £1000
