Design Technology Teacher* Location: Ashington  Salary: £150.87 - £213.36 per day Immediate Start An ‘Good’ secondary school in Ashington is looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join their supportive and forward thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment. Candidates that have a real passion for DT are a must! The main duties will include: Planning, teaching and assessing the Design Technology curriculum Using a range of quality resources to maximise the learning impact  Following the school behaviour management policy effectively Promoting independence Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care The ideal candidate will: Hold Qualified Teaching Status Have a degree in subject area Be passionate about their subject area ECT’s are welcome Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves) A full checkable work history At GSL we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
