We are holding a Recruitment Day on Sunday 29th September at The Lidl Maryport Store, Curzon Street, CA15 6DA. We’re hiring now for the following positions: ? Customer Assistants (£12.40 up to £13.35 per hour) ? Shift Managers (£14.35 up to £14.85 per hour) Our recruitment day takes place between 9am and 3pm and will include a welcome introduction to Lidl from various colleagues including, Store Managers, Area Managers and Head of Sales, as well as a face-to-face interview. Apart from your good selves, you will need to bring along with you on the day: ? Your eligibility to work in the UK documentation (we will provide a full list of acceptable documents with your invitation) ? Bank details (your own name must be listed on the account) ? National Insurance Card or number ? A P45 form from your previous employer ? Dates of pre-booked holidays ? A proof of address (driving license, Council tax bill etc). CUSTOMER ASSISTANT - As a Lidl Customer Assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming and never be bored. You’ll take pride in going the extra mile to keep the store clean, tidy and organised, working closely with your colleagues and making sure that every customer receives the service they deserve. You could even become a Freshness, Non-Food or Bakery Specialist. SHIFT MANAGER - As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. Our store recruitment open days take approximately 1 hour to complete and will include a tour of the store and an interview. Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store ? Passionately provide excellent customer service ? Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods ? Expertly merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products Shift Manager: ? Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles ? Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks ? Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you ? Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager ? Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory and stock management to make sure shifts run smoothly ?
