Head of Quality Assurance

London Permanent Up to 110,000 We are seeking an exceptional Head of QA to join a growing FinTech startup, to work directly alongside the CTO in leading and shaping the QA and testing strategy within technology. This role presents an exceptional chance for a QA expert to excel in a fast-paced, high-impact setting.Responsibilities include:Managing, coaching, and mentoring QA engineers across multiple teams.Driving business-wide QA strategy with a focus on automation, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage for all SaaS products.Designing, building, and evolving test assets, frameworks, and automation codebases.Leading process improvements in QA (agile, DevOps, etc.).Spearheading skills development and training initiatives within the QA organization.Acting as a key liaison with Product and Operations teams.Desired experience:Have experience building modern web application test frameworks with TypeScript and Playwright.Are skilled in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version management systems (e.g., Git).Have led QA teams testing modern web apps in cloud environments.Have knowledge of backend serverless architectures, including messaging, event sourcing, and microservices.Think independently and enjoy sharing knowledge.Possess excellent leadership, management, and coaching skills with a proven track record in technology teams.Have a systems-oriented mindset, with a keen eye for detail.Bring experience from mission-critical industries, such as finance.Benefits:Competitive SalaryEquity OptionsPensionHealth InsuranceFlexible working, remote or office-based working20 days paid holidays (excluding sick days)Regular team outings and eventsThis is a great chance for an ambitious and experinece Head of QA to step into a new challenge with scope for significant impact.* Unfortunately, due to the high volume of applications, not all submissions will receive feedback.*
