They are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and optimization of our cutting-edge hydrogen production systems.

My clients' groundbreaking methane pyrolysis technology delivers the lowest-cost hydrogen from natural or bio-gas with almost zero CO2 emissions. Their patented process reduces emissions by producing a green solid carbon co-product, helping to replace billions of tons of virgin carbon used annually. As hydrogen becomes a multi-trillion-dollar market, they're is set to be a key enabler in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing their hydrogen production reactor systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the mechanical design process for the microwave reactor and production subsystems.
- Collaborating with the Engineering Director and CTO to develop, test, and integrate production systems.
- Designing containerized production systems using CAD tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Managing the mechanical fitting of components and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Sourcing and specifying components for their hydrogen generators.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering design environment.
- Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Experience with solids handling and high-temperature ATEX environments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment and adapt to emerging technologies.
