Primary PPA cover Teacher

Role: PPA cover teacher Duration: 3 days per week, long term Start date: January 2025 Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Swadlincote for a PPA cover Teacher. What does the role include? Covering pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a two-form entry primary school. Ensuring lessons are delivered effectively and all children are engaged. Managing classroom and student behaviour. Leaving a clear and effective handover for the class teachers return. Marking completed work throughout the lessons. Adapting to different year groups throughout the day.Are you suitable for this role? You must hold a valid QTS qualification and experience as a primary school class teacher. You require to have strong, clear communication skills. You should be able to adapt and teach across a primary school setting. Good behaviour management skills are also preferred.Smile Education will provide you with a specialist consultant who will work closely with local schools to you.
