Working for a fantastic brand within the Financial Services industry, who are looking at growing their European presence over the next few years.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Process bi-weekly and monthly payroll for European employees.
Calculate and process payroll taxes, including PAYE, National Insurance Contributions (NICs), and Student Loan Repayments Manage employee benefits programs, such as pension schemes and company cars Prepare and submit statutory returns to HMRC, including P11D forms and Real Time Information (RTI) submissions
Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation Provide payroll advice and support to employees and managers
Assist with year-end payroll processes, including P60s and P14s Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-national organization
Strong knowledge of UK & European payroll legislation and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other payroll software
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
