Civil Enforcement Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a local authority to provide them with a Civil Enforcement Officers on a permanent basis.

Positions available in Houghton Regis and Thorn, Dunstable

As a successful Civil Enforcement Officer, your duties will be:

• To provide an efficient and effective service of parking enforcement in order to minimise parking in contravention through the issue of Penalty Charge Notices in appropriate cases.
• You will be conversant with Road Traffic Law, Traffic Regulation Orders, relevant legislation and Civil Parking Enforcement practices and procedures

To be considered, you will have the following knowledge/experience:

• The role is an active, physical role, being outdoors in all weathers (uniform is provided)
• Great interpersonal skills
• Staying calm in conflict and being able to deal with this appropriately
• Being Resilient and flexible.
• Being able to drive in preferable.

What's on offer?

• Contract: Permanent
• Salary: 26,421 - 28,770 per annum pro rata (+ additional weekend enhancement)
• Working Hours: 37 Hours p/w - (Please note that you'll work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, on a rolling 8-week rota, with weekend working (with enhancement) a mixture of early and late shifts between 7am and 9:30pm).
