Role Overview: Supplier Quality Engineer - Composites We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with a strong background in composites to join their ambitious and growing team. Key Responsibilities: As a Supplier Quality Engineer specialising in composites, you will: * Develop and manage strategies to meet quality requirements for composite materials. * Ensure compliance with customer specifications through robust internal processes and engineering feedback. * Continuously improve our agile quality management system and lead FMEA activities. * Guide inspection teams * Foster strong relationships with suppliers * Conduct audits of suppliers * Align visual carbon composite standards with customer expectations, embracing a right-first-time mentality. * Utilize 8D principles * Collaborate with suppliers Who We're Looking For: * Subject matter expert in all things composites. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. * Client or customer-facing experience. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings (GD&T). * Proficiency in Microsoft applications. * Understanding of drawing office procedures and ability to adapt to changing projects. * Strong analytical skills and understanding of quality processes. * Valid UK driving license for supplier visits. * Auditing experience and knowledge of ISO9001 requirements.
