Resettlement Co-ordinator **

We are working in partnership with a Local Authority based in the Enfield area who are looking to appoint a Resettlement Co-ordinator to work within the Homelessness Service.

Contract - 4-6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.

Working Hours - Full time position (35 hours per week).

Location - Enfield, EN1. (Hybrid working)

Rate of Pay - £20.47+ per hour. (negotiable on experience).

About the role:

This role involves working with vulnerable single people experiencing homelessness who are released from prison or discharged from hospital. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in working in homelessness, making decisions on homelessness cases and assessing the necessary homelessness tests. It would be ideal if they have experience of working with vulnerable customers. The role will require the candidate to attend the office at least once per week, and occasionally work from hospitals within Enfield, mostly North Middlesex Hospital.The Main Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service to homeless applicants and key partners. Provide specialist homelessness casework to single applicants with complex support needs leaving institutions, ensuring that all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies and initiatives set out at the national, regional and local level - through effective and regular case work supervision, advice, guidance and support. Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for single homeless applicants with complex needs and housing needs. Contribute to embedding safeguarding best practice across the wider Housing Advisory Service. Contribute to the development of the Homeless Casework Service and wider Housing Advisory Service.Experience Needed:

Undertake comprehensive assessments that lead to focused and co-produced Personal Housing Plans (PHP) for each applicant Ensure our duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act are met, delivering a proactive person centred, outcome focused and end to end case management approach.
