We’re an award-winning business and have been recognised in the national press as a Sunday Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Company and a Financial Times Top 1000 Company in Europe.As a Transport Manager at Vuba, you will:Hold responsibility for compliance with company and statutory requirements regarding Operator License, H&S, service quality, drivers’ hours, and tacho regulations, inclusive of the working time directiveComply with all relevant transport legislation covering the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements and ‘O’ License requirementsSupporting new business initiatives and projects and contributing to review meetings and change process. Ensuring effective transport implementation takes place relating to the changes.Establish and maintain an expansive communication network with national, international and local logistics, ensuring that company operates with sufficient logistics provision and meet all delivery requirements in timely, safe and efficient manner.Preserve excellent internal communication for processing & dispatch of finished products to ensure delivery targets are metManage & coordinate routes with company driversCommunicate with internal stakeholders to ensure coherenceManage the companies Pallet-Networks & Sub-Contractors and negotiate rates when requiredWe are looking for someone who has:Background in Logistics Distribution and Supply ChainAbility to use own initiative and propose improvementsQualification in Logistics and/or experience in similar roleProven experience of operating in fast paced high-volume work environmentCPC EssentialBased in Beverley the working hours are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 3pm Fridays.Salary and Benefits:£32 000 - £39 000Regular Team Socials, Events and CelebrationsCompany Bonus and Incentive Schemes once completing your probationary period.24 Days Holiday Plus Bank HolidaysRegular Training and Development OpportunitiesCareer Growth and Progression Opportunities – it’s a fast growing business!On Site ParkingOpportunities to travel internationally3PM Finish on FridaysFoodie Friday – The Company buys lunch once a month
