Business Development Manager Rail National The Company a leading manufacturer of cable management solutions dedicated to providing innovative cable management products tailored for the rail industry. Their solutions ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability in rail operations. As we expand our reach, we are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to help us tap into new opportunities within this vital sector. The Role The Business Development Manager will focus on driving sales and building strategic partnerships within the rail industry. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting our solutions, and closing deals that enhance rail infrastructure. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the rail sector. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including operators, contractors, HS2, and industry regulators. Develop and execute tailored business development strategies to meet the unique needs of the rail industry. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure our solutions meet industry standards and customer requirements. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and network with potential clients. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients. The Candidate Proven experience in business development or sales within the rail or transportation industry. Experience with HS2 of particular experience. Strong knowledge of cable management solutions and their systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. The Package Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
