Randstad are partnered with a audio equipment manufacturer based in Portsmouth who are looking for an embedded software engineer on a permanent basis.Ideally the candidate would have a strong background in digital signal processing for audio applications and an understanding of the trade-offs required to partition between software and hardware.
The main requirements for the position are;
- Strong experience with Embedded C
- Bare metal development experience
- Experience with Embedded Operating Systems: Linux, Zephyr
- Microprocessors (e.g. ARM, Nordic Semiconductors, Infineon, Analogue devices)
- Serial Communications Protocols (e.g. Bluetooth, I2C, I2S, RS232, UDP)
Desired Skills;
- Experience with highspeed design
- Knowledge of Analog Devices SigmaStudio and SHARC digital signal processing (DSP) design tools.
- Infineon PSoC Creator and ModusToolbox
