Yard Operative

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Yard Operative to join our team at our Goxhill facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our manufacturing environment, contributing to the efficient and safe operation of our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manual Lifting: Engage in manual lifting of items weighing up to 25kg, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines.
• Yard Duties: Shovelling various materials such as sand and aggregate.
• Adherence to Safety Protocols: Strict adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Manual Handling Skills: Ability to safely lift and move items up to 25kg.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Team Player: Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
• Punctuality: Reliable and punctual attendance to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage of 11.80 for first 39 hours and 17.70 for the remaining hours of your shift.
• Monday to Friday, days only shift.
