The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for individuals with warehouse and production experience to work for an established, growing manufacturing business in the Preston Area area on a temporary to permanent basis.
About the role and responsibilities:
Lifting, loading and unloading heavy equipment and transporting it throughout the warehouse
Adhere to health and safety procedures- Working along a production line in a fast paced environment, picking and packing
- General duties around the warehouse
- Training to become Line Leader and managing the production line
Working hours are 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday
Rate of pay is 11.44 initially, once fully trained to become Line Leader this will increase to 12.44.
The ideal candidate must have experience of working in a warehouse / factory environment and experience of working along a fast paced production line.
? ?Candidates with previous experience as a team leader / supervisor is also desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Once training has been provided you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, maximising productivity, maintaining product quality, and supporting your team in achieving daily targets.
