The Purpose A chance to join Matchroom Multi Sport, one of the fastest growing teams at Matchroom as a junior graphic designer, working on global sporting events such as the Mosconi Cup, Champion of Champions, and Reyes Cup. At Matchroom Multi Sport, we are shaping the future of a fully global and professionally run 9-ball pool tour – the World Nineball Tour (WNT) - that continues to reach new heights and territories. As part of this drive, we are embracing creativity and talent off of the pool table. The nature of Matchroom Multi Sport is that we continue to cover new sports and opportunities alike, and whilst one of our main goals is to grow the World Nineball Tour, we also work across sports including snooker and events such as the Champion of Champions. We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to contribute to our ever-growing and dynamic team. This unique opportunity allows individuals with a deep passion for all sports and graphic design to play a pivotal role in both design projects and supporting our operation and branding goals. Position Overview As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will become an integral part of our mission to elevate the World Nineball Tour’s visual identity and engage fans/brands on a deeper level. In addition to your design responsibilities, you will collaborate closely with our marketing and commercial teams to ensure a seamless integration of design elements into our promotional and sales strategies. Responsibilities 1. Design: · Develop visually striking designs for tournament branding, merchandise, and promotional materials. · Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling visuals for online and offline campaigns. · Create bespoke presentations for regular post-event sponsor reports, as well as sponsorship proposals for new potential brand partners throughout the year. · Maintain and enhance the overall aesthetic of the WNT brand through design consistency across all touch points and channels. 2. Marketing Support: · Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, including social media graphics, promo videos, email campaigns, and website visuals. · Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that design elements align with our promotional strategies. · Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative concepts for marketing initiatives. · Contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall fan experience through design. 3. Brand Consistency: · Uphold and reinforce the WNT brand guidelines in all design work to maintain a cohesive and recognisable brand image. · Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all designs align seamlessly with the overall WNT brand strategy. The person · A passion for sport in general and an enthusiastic approach to growing the WNT brand · A degree in Graphic Design or relevant qualification in the related discipline is desirable. · Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign). · A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity. · Ability to multi-task and be agile to work across multiple projects with short turnaround times. · Keen attention to detail. · Ability to work within a team and autonomous environment. · Full UK driving licence. Job details · It is a full-time role and candidates should live within commuting distance of the Matchroom Multi Sport’s Head Office in Brentwood, Essex (CM14 5LJ).
