An opportunity has arisen to join an ever excelling Data Science team within one of the largest Non-Ministerial Government Departments in the UK. You will be spearheading the Department as the Lead Data Scientist. As the Lead Data Scientist, you will guide a team of data professionals, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality data insights to support decision-making. Skills and Technology experience for the Lead Data Science role include: Strong skills in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages. Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and big data technologies. Ability to work with complex datasets and provide meaningful insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with or within government departments or the public sector is preferred. Day Rate: £600/day Inside IR35 Working Arrangement: Hybrid, only in office for on-site meetings.
