Salary: £22,366 - £23,114 (Actual salary: £14,023.53 - £14,492.53, plus SEND allowance £912.92) Contract: Temporary (Term time only + 5 training days) Hours: 27 per week Location: Meadowside Academy Meadowside Academy is a happy and supportive academy situated in Knaresborough. Meadowside Academy is looking for a General Teaching Assistant to join the team and continue driving strong standards. We are seeking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to work with teachers to support the teaching and learning of individuals or small groups of children under the direction of the teaching staff. Job purpose • Work with teaching staff to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of pupils, under the direction of teaching staff. • May be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan. • May work in the classroom or approved location within the school. • Access to support and guidance as required • Work with children who have a range of SEND. • To undertake specific work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.
