Test LeadLocation - Trafford Park. Hybrid - 70% in office6 month contractKey Responsibilities:Leadership and Coordination:Lead and manage a team of mobile functional testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.Coordinate with project stakeholders to define test strategies, plans, and objectives.Ensure effective communication between the testing team and other departments.Test Planning and Design:Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.Identify test scenarios and design test scripts for manual and automated testing.Ensure test coverage across various devices, operating systems, and network conditions.Execution and Management:Execute functional, regression, and system integration tests on mobile applications.Monitor and manage test execution, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Automation and Tools:Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for mobile applications.Evaluate and recommend appropriate testing tools and technologies.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the release process.Quality Assurance:Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.Conduct reviews and provide feedback on test cases, scripts, and results.Perform root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.Reporting and Documentation:Generate detailed test reports, metrics, and dashboards to track testing progress and quality.Document test results, issues, and resolutions in a clear and concise manner.Provide regular status updates to project stakeholders and management.Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in mobile testing.Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements to optimize testing efficiency.Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the testing team.Experience:5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile applications.Proven experience in leading and managing testing teams.Strong background in both manual and automated testing.Skills:Proficiency in mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).Solid understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their respective guidelines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
