Designer (3+ years experience)

Job Title: Structural Designer - Groundworks Location: Future Build are working with a well-established Groundworks and Foundation specialist who specialise in delivering foundation packages for residential housing schemes and care homes. The ideal candidate will have a background in groundworks and foundations design. This role offers a pathway for career progression to a Design Manager position. Design and develop foundation packages for residential housing schemes and care homes. Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet project requirements. Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and ensure design specifications are adhered to. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for foundation and groundworks projects. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address design-related queries and modifications. Proven experience as a Structural Designer in the construction industry, with a focus on groundworks and foundations design. Strong understanding of foundation and groundworks processes, techniques, and regulations. Proficient in using design software and tools relevant to structural design. Relevant qualifications in structural engineering or a related field are desirable. Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.
