Maintenance Engineer

Role : Maintenance Engineer Location: Somerset Package: £47,230 + Pension, healthcare and many more (overtime available at double time) Shifts: Panamas Days and nights The Company My client are one of the largest systems integrators in the world, with well over 5000 employees world wide operating with a global function. As a true leader In automation my client design, install, build, commission and maintain at their resident sites adapting to the customers demand. Working with Tier 1 clients across various industries within warehousing. With ongoing commitment to R&D and delivering great service has lead to their turnover surpassing the £2bn mark last year. Due to increase in Demand my clients site in Somerset are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This site was one of my clients first within the UK. This site alone is a key site for my client turning over £200 million of their products per year. The role Your responsibilities will include a very even split between Planned Maintenance and Breakdowns on the production line. The role also comes with a split of mechanical and electrical tasks As part of the role you will be required to work with their customer and adapt to their requirements Working with Sensors, relays, contactors, bearing, belts, pneumatics and Hydrulics systems Within your role you will be working with various forms of machinery including: 25 cranes  long 15m high- must be comfortable with height, conveyors, Shrinking machines A tablet provided that works with CMMS to organise PPM using state of the art technology The candidate As a Maintenance Engineer I am looking for Someone: With a recognised engineering qualification Who will be able to work in a high pressure and fast moving environment Who can work electrically and mechanically depending on the need of the site Who is a strong communicator so will be able to work as part of a team but also adopt the cohesion of the team in Somerset Work independently when needed to but also work with the team as and when needed to The Benefits As a Maintenance Engineer you will receive: An annual salary for this role is £47,230 per annum.
