Senior Business Development Manager - Short Sea Operations Location: Ipswich, UK Salary: £65,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Company Car Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Manage your Own Diary Are you a results driven, sales hungry freight and logistics business development manager, looking for a new role in the Ipswich area? This role could be right for you. My client is offering a fantastic package for experienced Logistics Sales person to help develop their customer base in the Short-Sea and Ro/Ro sectors. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line, developing Short-Sea Trade Lanes, Ro/Ro and Container Operations and have great knowledge and experience with UK, EU and International Markets. To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit. Be the forefront of the companies' development by promoting the business to new and existing clients. Develop new and existing Short-Sea Trade Lanes and Ro/Ro Trailer and Container Operations.Requirements: Customer/Business/Route Development Manager Experience is Essential. Experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Shipping Line. Knowledge and experience within Short-Sea and Ro/Ro sales/operations is Essential. Previous experience working with UK, EU and/or International Markets.
