Lift Engineers Manager

What are we looking for? Otis is currently recruiting for a Field Manager - Volume Projects based in the South West of England. The main goal of this role is managing on site operations at one or several New Equipment Installation Projects, reporting to and working alongside a Project Manager. As a Field Manager, you will: * Ensure the 3 key absolutes of Safety, Ethics and Financial Control are always maintained * Ensure RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) are in place, organise tooling, logistics, safety & process checks, inspections and safety briefings * Ensure flow of materials to deliver project * Oversee off-hire tooling at correct time and plan commissioning and Interfaces * Control site resources, manage, coach and record and log site entries for attendance To be successful in this role you will: * Possess field management of significant high-profile projects or be an experienced lift installer keen to move into management * Be IT Literate - MS office applications including MS project, Excel and Outlook * Be organised and able to maintain under fluctuating demands and pressures * Be results driven and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders * Good planning, problem solving and communication skills * An understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service What can we offer you? * Employee Scholarship Scheme & Educational Assistance Scheme - Otis will support you through your studies if you wish to gain further qualifications including HNC, Bachelors and Masters Degrees * We are committed to the continuing development of every employee; therefore we encourage and strongly support career progression, with opportunities for promotion within our organisation and throughout the wider Otis global group * The opportunity to work for the world’s leading lift manufacturer, with some of the most prestigious customers in Andover/Southampton/Swindon Region
