Job Type: Full-time (30-40 hours per week)
Pay: £12.50 - £15.00 depending on experience
Expected Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week

Minimum Level 3 Qualification as per government guidelines
At least 2 years of previous experience working with and caring for children under 5, ideally in an early year setting
A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and creating exciting learning opportunitiesKey Responsibilities & Duties:
As an Early Years Educator, the individual will be responsible for supporting management and staff within the setting to ensure the highest standards of care and education. Specific duties include:
Acting as a key person to ensure that every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any special educational needs or additional needs.
Prioritising the safeguarding of children and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Attending parents' evenings, recruitment/open day events, and relevant training sessions.
Contributing to and participating in training and staff meetings to remain up to date with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) requirements within the nursery.
Building strong relationships with parents and carers, providing daily reports on their child's time at nursery.
Taking ownership of observations, assessments, and planning for key children in line with EYFS, offering developmentally challenging next steps.
Staying current with childcare policies and procedures.
Being a team player to ensure the nursery achieves excellent outcomes in internal audits and external inspections, such as Ofsted.
